There is a tree growing inside of me. Perhaps tree is not the right word, it may be a metaphor, but a tree is how I see it, it was gifted to me as a seedling, and I have been charged to nurture this thing.
On a recent journey, she changed [not for the first time, but in a significant manner], and bore these many scarlet roses, as a sign on my senuality, and sexuality blossoming. I was going to make this a painting, that's why there is a thumbnail in the corner, but once I started drawing it...perhaps I felt too lazy to do it again  We'll see, maybe I'll end up painting another version.(c) Tricia Clark-Gilley |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
